The luckiest mother in the world

On occasion while out amoung other families, I notice the way other children behave. And I realize how I have taken mine for granted and let such small things get me upset.

I turn to them and say, "I am the luckiest mother in the world." And I ask them, "Do you know why?"

Only the first time did they need to hear it. Every time after they sang out in unison, "Because you have us!"

They beam with pride and I find patience list all month on nonsense!
