step parenting help

by annette
(new mexico)

I have a 13 year old daughter and i remarried when she was 6. For the entire time of my marriage i have struggled with including my spouse in the "immaterial" decisions regarding my daughter. Not because i dont value his opinion, it is just that i make quick decisions. Immaterial decisions like, spending the night with her friends, going to the movies, if she can join a school activity, etc.

My husband is resentful that i do not ask him first. I am trying to be sympathetic and understanding but i dont see his point of view, can you help?
