Raising My Biracial Children

by Angela M.
(Nashville, AR USA)

I can honestly say that I haven't had any issues raising my biracial children. I also have two children that are not biracial and there hasn't been much difference in them. We have our issues as a family, but none of them have to do with race.

Now if someone says something about me or my kids behind my back then I think it's their ignorance and their problem. I know some people are shallow minded enough to do so.

My family has welcomed my children from the beginning. They love me, so they love the children who I have brought into the world.

I am very blessed.I do know people who have lost their family support over this.

Angela
