Playdate NIGHTMARES

Playdate NIGHTMARES

I have a very dear close friend who has two children. Their ages are 4 1/2 & 2 1/2. I love my friend dearly, but every time she comes over with her children, it is an absolute nightmare. To the point where things of mine are broken, temper tantrums are many, she constantly threatens to punish, but never follows through.

Her children are so out of control that it makes the entire visit miserable. I also have 2 kids (11 years & 5 years, both boys). My friend just says she thinks her kids are going through a growth spurt & that is why they are acting this way.

Personally, I think she lets them getaway with whatever they want. I definitely have a different parenting style than she does. My kids don't get 3 chances before discipline, they get 1.

My question is HOW DO I SAY SOMETHING WITHOUT OFFENDING HER? I don't want to hurt her feelings. I don't want our friendship to end over this but I also can't handle another INSANE playdate! HELP!
