Parenting Child ADHD - Stories from Parents of Children with ADHD

Parenting Child ADHD ...
raising a child with ADHD has its challenges and triumphs. Since the issues related to bringing up a child with ADHD are different than those faced by other parents, I'm inviting you to share your stories about what has worked and what has not. This is a forum where you can air your grievances, talk about other people's prejudices and lack of understanding and share your stumbling blocks and successes.
Before I explain how to post to our forum, let me share a program that my web site visitors keep recommending to me which could restore a sense of peace and order to your home. It was developed by a behavioral therapist and teaches parents how to teach children to control their impulses, minimize outbursts and change disruptive behaviors. This program is specifically geared to kids who have ADD and ADHD. To read more, click on Total Focus.

You may also want to read about a natural mineral salt: Lithium Orotate for ADHD which is showing great promise not just for kids with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, but also for parents who want to reduce irritability and a sense of overwhelm while increasing focus. This mineral has no side effects and actually increases grey matter in the brain!

To contribute to our forum, just fill out the form below. Share what has happened at home, at school with your child's peers and teachers, out in public, with relatives or friends and during after school activities and sports. Tell us how your helping your child cope with ADHD and whether you're using supplements, behavioral tools or meds. Share and share a like, so we can learn from each other.

Read, Comment on and rate the parenting child ADHD stories submitted by others.

Bright Spark is a 100% natural, holistic supplement that helps children be calm, improve focus and concentration. It has been recommended to me by many parents whose children are using it with excellent results.

In addition to the parent-submitted stories below, please see the Related Resources Section below with other articles on ADHD.
