New Mamma of Mixed Race Child

Hi, my name is Genevieve and I'm expecting my first baby. I am currently with an African American man. We will have a mixed race child. I'm very concerned about some of the comments that have been made toward us. People say that I am unfit to raise a black child because I am white. I understand that he will need different needs than an average white child, but my question is: How do I prevent my child from feeling different than any other black child?
