Get husband to spend more time with son
by: Laura

I suggest you start by having everyone sit down on the couch to read a story. Have your son sit between you. Let your husband feel the closeness of your family, his son and the warm, supportive environment that occurs when you're reading to a child. Tell him how important reading is to a child's development. Work up to asking him to read to his son.

If reading is too intimate to start, then suggest a family trip to the park. Bring a ball, so your husband can teach your son how to kick the ball, throw and catch it. Work up from there. Good luck.
