Thanks for your advice. Definitely true. No two children are the same and they all have different patterns. Hope it's something she will grow out of and eventually sleep through the night. I suppose as a first time mum I always think it's something I'm doing wrong. Learning every day! Thanks again

every child is different NEW

I'm no expert by any means, but I think every child is different. I know several kids that are older than 18 months who still wake in the night for a quick feeding; on the other hand, my daughter has slept through the night since she was about 5 months old. It might be a habit pattern, but it might be as simple as she's hungry, and it wakes her up. It's a bit hard on you but if she's otherwise healthy I'm not sure it's necessarily a problem to be "fixed"; some kids just don't conform to "normal".
