Your boyfriend's comments are a form of emotional incest. Instead of supporting his daughter's transformation into a woman by making her feel good about who she is, he is objectifying her. It is definitely inappropriate and I would tell him so. When you witness an adult treating a child like this, it is up to you to say something to try to put a stop to it.
I cannot respond to every question posted on my site, but this one really disturbed me.
Tell your boyfriend that it is wrong for him to objectify his daughter. If he thinks he's doing her a favor, tell him that there are plenty of men in the world who will objectify her and make comments about her body parts.
