I have the same fear. My Husband works at night and sleeps during the day. So he's hardly available to nurture our boys at all, less offer them male influence. The majority of the time it's me. On the weekends (because I don't know what else to do) I stick the kids with dad. How can they get the fatherly male interaction without the time laps?
Suggestion: set up a text or instant messaging system only between our boys and dad. (My son loves this, he feels important when dad texts him.)
Suggestion: Have something only they do together. Like shaving, or going to the Home Depot. And the Honey Do's list can be the men to-do list. (yes we woman can do them ourselves, lol, but its about the boys.) Hope this helped. From Lynn
