I am a teacher in a diverse school district in Texas. We have many students who are biracial. One thing that I see many parents doing is checking the box for other then making the race specification on school forms.
If I were in your shoes, I would first off make sure you have made your request to the school in writing, then from there to the school district. At that point, go sit at a school board meeting. Shake things up by bringing up the issue, and calling is racism... In a way it is.
