Fielding Inappropriate Questions about Biracial Child's Identity
(st paul mn usa)
So I have a nine year old African/white son and just had a baby who is Ethiopian/White. He is quite the cutie! He gets a lot of attention. However, I am beginning to field inappropriate questioning(something I first experienced with older son).
Any advice on how to respond politely or what I should do that is empowering to our family. So here are the questions: Is he yours? Is he your birth child? Mostly it is white men that ask me these really intrusive questions or older white woman...urghhh any thoughts :)?
