In regards to the article "Child Incest: The Effects of Molestation Can Last a Lifetime" I would like to say that I'm bothered by your assumption that only little girls are molested, and this abuse is always at the hand of the father. That is obviously not the case. Boys can be molested by fathers and girls can be molested by mothers. Children can also be molested by other family members - an aunt, uncle, cousin, brother, etc. I'm also very worried by your characterization of the hypothetical mother in the father-daughter scenario as "selfish, frightened, deadbeat". In that kind of scenario, it could be that the mother doesn't know what's happening or is being abused herself. Why judge and characterize an extremely complicated situation that commands a wide range of emotions and motives? That seems way more harmful than informative.
