About six months ago, I was in the same boat as you and would have described my daughter as a child with bad attitude. Like you, I was thinking that boot camp was my only option, but then I did some reading on this site and others and found out about this program called the total transformation that is a CD program that you can use at home. This means that you don't have to send your daughter away and that you get to work with her to help her change her behavior.
Obviously, you'll have to try the program yourself to see how it works for your child, but all I can say is that I learned some techniques that worked and have really changed my daughter in a positive way.
