Baby Names - Parent-Submitted Directory of Unique & Meaningful Baby Names

Baby names should be meaningful with each one having significance to parents. A child loves nothing more than hearing how and why his parent picked his name. As such, I'm inviting you to share the story of how you came to name your child. Is he named after a much-loved relative, a sports figure or character in a book? What is the original meaning of your child's first and middle name? What you call your child has resonance and meaning and is what he will be called throughout his life.

Please help us build a comprehensive and meaningful baby names directory by using the form below to tell us your child's first and middle name, upload a special photo and tell us how you came to give your child his name.

Creating a meaningful name directory shows parents-to-be the importance of thinking deeply about their child and it's also a way for you to pay tribute to your child.

Once your page has been published and approved, you will be sent a link that you can share with family and friends. They can even comment on, embellish or rate what you've written. What a great way to announce your new baby to the world by posting his or her first and middle name, its meaning, the story behind it and a special photo on your favorite parenting site. Additionally, this is a great to preserve forever the story of your child's name.

Have A Great Story About Your Baby's Name?

Do you have a great story about your child's name? Share it with others! Tell us your child's first and middle names. What are their original meanings and what do they mean to you? If your child was named after a much-loved relative, tell us about that person and what made them so unique (this can also be a tribute to that relative.) Share your story, then use this page as a way to introduce your new baby to the world and/or preserve forever the story of how your child was named. (Young children will be tickled to see their photo and naming story on our web site.)
